IAS Exam Notification

DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission, i.e. UPSC 2014 exam notification was expected to be  declared on 17th May 2014. UPSC will invite the application for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination, which will be held  on 24th August 2014 and the last date for receipts of application expected to be 16th June 2014.   The preliminary exam will be conducted under the rules published by the Department of Personnel & Training in the Gazette of India.  

 The eligibility criteria of the candidate applying for this preliminary examination includes the candidates should be an Indian national and between 21 to 32 years of age as on August 1, 2014.   The candidates must possess a degree of any of universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or any other educational institutions recognized by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under the Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act.   Candidates can apply online for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination through the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. 

All the information regarding this preliminary exam is available on this website.   The procedure of the UPSC 2014 will be completed in three stages i.e. firstly candidates will have to appear for the preliminary examination and then after clearing the prelims, apply for the main examination.
